Learning the Discipline of Remaining

On April 21st, 2018, over 170 women gathered for a surprisingly sunny day in Seattle, Washington to learn about what it means to reside and bask in the Kingdom, resting with diligence at Jesus’s feet even as the enemy takes pains to distract us from doing just that.
It was an amazing day, a day that many people will look back and remember as a turning point for them and their intimacy with Jesus! Thank you God for all of those moments that you created by speaking uniquely to each and every woman who came to the event!

The Inception of the “Hungry Ones”
The Lord has a way of using our conferences and events to bookmark moments in Salt’s history and to speak life into who we are as a ministry and this event proved to be no exception. As our founder, Krista Breilh looked out over the crowd during the first worship set, she prayed over the women who were in attendance and asked the Lord what He wanted her to know about the ladies present. The Lord simply, yet so profoundly, said, “these are the hungry ones.”
It was those five simple words that changed the trajectory of Salt’s future as the Lord named the niche that this ministry is to pursue. He has created us to love, pursue and create resources for those who are hungry for more of God and that is exactly what we are doing. Thank you Jesus for calling us to this place – we LOVE partnering with you in all that we get to do this side of Heaven.
