God’s Steadfast Love Remains Forever

Jesus, and Jesus alone made this conference happen. How else would fourteen Americans find themselves across the world in Wellington, New Zealand hosting a conference for women of all generations? Ladies between the ages of 15 and 80 attended our Even Now Conference, and it felt like a little slice of heaven to see everyone together in one space.
It wasn’t more than four months prior to this event, that the idea of putting on a conference in New Zealand during spring break, plopped into our minds.
It has always been a pipe dream for our ministry and realizing it had felt so out of reach. Well, as we know, with God all things are possible! The team raised over $26,000 to make this trip happen!
Singing in Mauri (the native language of New Zealand), and meshing two cultures so we could worship the Lord together was so special. We hope this isn’t the first and last time we travel to New Zealand to host an event like this!

Bringing the Gospel to the Nations
We knew when we said “yes” to making this trip happen, that there were going to be some surprises and lessons for us to learn that we never could have imagined, and the Lord did not disappoint.
One of the many things the team took away from this experience was an understanding of the importance of bringing the Gospel TO people—to go after those who need it, and make it accessible to them. Our host, Lane Park Church, was Emma Davision’s. She is a Kiwi we met at a conference in Portland, OR the year before. Emma grew up at Lane Park, and the last time the church had a women’s event was when Emma’s mom put one together twenty years earlier.
Upper Hutt is a small town outside of Wellington . They don’t have speakers or events pass through their town because they are so small. And this is why we believe the Lord brought us there. He wanted to remind us of the lengths He will go to in order to pursue us and make His Gospel known.
