The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

Psalm 19:1-4

faith to believe God is who He says He is

faith that God will meet you along the trail of an adventure!

Your safety is our highest priority, because of that you will find guidelines as well as our COVID waiver here. We ask you read over those documents before signing up.

Please bring your favorite mask, we will be wearing them when we cannot maintain a distance of 6’ from others (e.g. when passing someone on the trail, if our time at the summit is confined). We recommend a buff if you have one since they are easy to pull up and down!

•  Favorite Trail Snack: Peanut Butter Perfect Bar
•  Favorite Hiking Pro-Tip: Ditch your cute tank top for the longer hikes, t-shirts are the way to go. The shoulder coverage will not only protect you from the sun but the added layer will feel nice after hours of wearing a pack.

Fun Facts + Tips

Olivia grew up in the PNW and has always had a passion for nature and adventure. She has hiked / backpacked many trails in Washington and in more recent years caught the mountaineering bug (Rainier is on the bucket list!!). While she works in the corporate world, the outdoors have always been her escape to remain grounded and she hopes that she can be a vessel to help others feel connected to creation and their Creator.

on our Arise adventures, our leaders have three goals:

to connect

To personally connect with each of the women who sign up as well as help them deepen their connection to God, to the outdoors and to others.

to know

To be “in the know” on the trail conditions and the hiker’s level of experience to ensure that everyone is safe and taken care of the entire time.

to encourage

To be a source of encouragement both in the physical exertion that comes with hiking but also in whatever season you are going through.

Definitely not! We try to select hikes that are challenging enough to be fun and feel like adventure, but not too difficult to deter anyone.

Do I need to be an experienced hiker?

common questions!

For each hike, we have a recommend packing list when you click on "Learn More" on the hike. For most hikes, we recommend comfy layers of clothing, shoes with traction soles and lots of water.

What do I need to pack?

Yes, please bring any snacks or food that you want or might want to eat on your adventure.

Do I need to bring my own food?

Most of our hikes cost $15 to cover any parking or pass expenses.

How much does it cost?

Yes! We believe that carpooling can be a great way to start off an adventure so you can get to know the girls before the hike begins. We will ask you a few questions about carpooling in our registration form.

Will transportation be provided?

are you ready??

We cannot wait to join you as you experience the Lord in nature! We are so excited to slow down and experience all of the beautiful details that God intricately created for us to enjoy and in turn, enjoy God even more.
