We are a growing community of intergenerational women who desire to faithfully pursue Jesus and help lead others to do the same. We believe in building an authentic community of Kingdom-minded women who say “YES” to where God leads them, no matter how risky it might feel. We are so glad you are here!

We Are Live Salted!
MOMENTS
February 2019 was our last in-person event, and after feeling prompted by God to not put on a conference in 2020 (which confused us at first), a few months after that decision Covid broke out and we were thankful we listened to the Lord’s nudge! We then went on to host two online conferences, Couch and Pursued, and though they were amazing, nothing beats in-person gatherings!
So, after lots of praying, relearning and hard work, on February 5, 2022, we hosted our first conference in the heart of University District in Seattle, Washington! We had no idea who was going to attend after a three year Covid pause, but throughout that day, more than 200 ladies (masked up) walked through those doors and spent the entire day worshiping, connecting, learning and being equipped in how to walk out their faith day-in and day-out in today’s culture.
The environment was electric.
You could tell how hungry we were all to be together. You could feel the excitement of being able to worship loudly and freely with other women alongside you. You could sense the spiritual desire to be reignited in the wonder of Jesus. You could physically observe deep needs and desires being filled as women sat in the presence of God all day, and, my goodness, was it powerful!
Krista Breilh brought a word encouraging us to live with a legacy mindset and to dream again about what the Lord can do with our surrendered ‘yes.’ Emily Jamieson reminded us of how we can hold both suffering and joy at the same time and how God wants to meet us in the middle of our mess no matter how forgotten, confused or stuck we feel. Amreitha Jeeva brought a powerful word looking at the story of the woman at the well, asking us what ‘water jars’ we need to let go of in order to be best available to go out and share our testimonies of how God has radically transformed our lives (listen to Amreitha’s full talk here!).
Finally, Vivian Mabuni finished up the day discussing the importance of living life from an open hands and a willing heart perspective. Each and every speaker brought it, and we didn’t know how the next speaker was going to be able to follow the prior so the day just kept getting better and better!
On top of that, Kendall Hill and Ife Oladoja lead us in worship with so much humility and reverence which led to a space of openness and freedom as we came before God and gave Him our worship. We also cannot forget our amazing panel that was packed with nuggets about being okay asking for help, and how even our weakest glance at the Father undoes His heart.
Gathering together is powerful and needed, and that was evident in the eight hours we spent together. We did not leave the way we came in, and that is what God is all about… heavenly, eternal, life changing transformation.
Woven into Salt’s culture is prayer. Why? Because we couldn’t do what we do without the Lord and the best way to partner with Him is through prayer. Before each conference, we have a pre-gathering prayer meeting where we get to enjoy fellowship around a meal followed by intentional time to listen and pray for what the Lord wants to do the following day. We felt very blessed because joining us this year was almost the entire prayer team (sometimes they aren’t able to come with scheduling so to have them all there was unreal!). As we gathered and asked the Lord to speak into the following day, people started to hear similar nuggets as well as very unique insights on the woman who would be attending.
The day of the conference, our prayer team was covering the seats before the attendees arrived and praying throughout the day for the Lord to reveal more to them about who He wanted to pursue, or personally touch through the prayer team. When it was time for Millie, our prayer lead, to go up before lunch and share some of the words the Lord had given the team it was only minutes after she shared the last bit of wisdom when we already had a line for people to receive prayer.
It was mind blowing and nothing short of the Lord’s doing.
Oftentimes, we see people go up for prayer once everyone is standing for worship so it isn’t as obvious, but not these gals. They flocked to the side of the sanctuary… these woman were hungry!
In our debrief both later that day and the next morning, we heard story after story on how the Lord met people so uniquely in that moment, and it reaffirmed to us all the power of prayer and how the Lord pursues us all so personally.
If you find yourself reading this blog post and you feel unseen, not pursued or not loved by the Lord, we would love to encourage you to slow down, turn on some music with no words and ask these question to Jesus:
He is always pursuing, always leaning in, always wanting a relationship with us, we just need to position our hearts to be open to Him and be willing to wait for Him to respond in His perfect timing.
