We Are Back!

After taking nearly six months off from forward-facing ministry to evaluate our processes at Live Salted, we are back! It was a necessary season of building systems and foundations, but goodness, we are so excited to be in person again with those we love! Thank you for your patience with us over the past few months.

Where is Jesus Inviting You Onward?

On March 5, 2023, we gathered with 50 other women around long tables to discuss the question, “Where is Jesus inviting us onward?” It can be easy to fall into patterns and rhythms of comfort and become accustomed to what we are used to instead of asking and inviting the Lord to take us deeper. We wanted to create an environment that painted a picture of the satisfaction and impact that can come when we give God our ‘yes.’

After a sweet time of mingling over appetizers and drinks, we dined together. Live Salted Board Chair, Sam Willing, kicked off the night by sharing how she creatively carries her faith into her professional world as an HR executive. She talked about the joy as well as the hardship that comes from giving her ‘yes’ to Jesus. 

At all Salt events, we strive to share inspiring content as well as create environments where women can process what they heard, think about how it applies to their lives, and name how to act on the information in the near future. We love seeing women step more into the fullness of God’s call on their lives!

Becoming an Intergenerational Ministry

During our time honing the purpose and mission of Salt, our desire to become an intergenerational ministry emerged. Live Salted began when Executive Director and Founder Krista Breilh was in college, and like Krista, our audience was younger and facing similar spiritual challenges and growth. 

Our ministry is now eight years old with more than 12-thousand women served through online or local events. When we started the conversation about what will create lasting change in followers of Jesus, it became obvious that a life of discipleship and mentorship is what truly creates that change. We are so expectant for where the Lord is taking us next!

It brought us deep joy to be back together in person with you. To look around the room and see women ranging in age from 23 to 66 was truly a sliver of the Kingdom of God!
