Replacing Lies With Truth

Our minds cannot fathom what the Lord did at our first worship night down in Orange, California!
After our first conference, we knew we wanted to gather people together again but didn’t know what it would look like as putting together a full conference is a lot of work, and the leadership team was in a big season of transition.
The Lord, however, knew what His children needed and impressed it on the team’s heart to come together and make a worship night happen. We reached out to the venue, and after their “yes” we were in deep with all of the planning. A few weeks later, it was a very fast turnaround time, we had SOLD OUT the event which blew us away and the Lord moved in ways that only He can do! Over 220 ladies gathered from all over Southern California for a night of fellowship and worship. Watch the video below to get just a grasp of what happened that beautiful night.

God, Who Do You Say I Am?
We live with so many lies in our minds and a lot of those lies are birthed somewhere between comparison and competition. As Krista Hengesh brought the Word that evening on comparison and competition, she lead the attendees through an activity that looked at the difference between feeling less than someone else verse being inspired by them.
She asked women to reflect on their lives and see what the Lord had blessed them with and then ask the Lord to highlight what He blessed the people around them with. It is all a matter of mindset to take a negative comparative thought about a person and change it into a moment to praise the Lord for what He has blessed them with. At the end, Krista asked the Lord to reveal to the women who He said they were and what truth He wanted to exchange the lies with.
The evening ended with the women approaching the cross and pinning those lies exactly where they belong… on the cross. It was a powerful moment. If you haven’t had the chance – watch the video above to get an idea of what this looked like!
