As Live Salted approaches ten years of ministry, we can’t think of a more meaningful way to celebrate than by inviting you to our VERY FIRST RETREAT. Join us September 2026 at Young Life’s Malibu Club in Canada, a stunning inlet surrounded by mountains and water — a place where countless lives have been transformed by Jesus for decades.
For four days and three nights, you will experience a space created to be
to Jesus' true character and to what is potentially holding you back from stepping into the freedom Christ offers. It’s a chance to find the rest your soul craves, the recalibration your heart longs for, and a clearer vision of the true character of Jesus and the relationship He desires with you.
Registration is officially ALMOST open! Take a moment to read through the information on this page so you feel fully informed before securing your spot.
We would love to have
you join us! If you have any questions, email us at retreat@livesalted.com.

+ Stunning waterfront and mountain views
+ Optional morning movement sessions (Sacred Yoga & HIIT)
+ A dedicated prayer room for lingering with the Lord
+ Topical breakout tracks led by trusted voices

If you’ve been there, you already know you’ll want to return. If you’ve only heard about it, this is your chance to experience it for yourself. And if you’ve never heard of it, imagine a tucked-away paradise — boardwalks winding over rocks, cabins nestled right beside the water, and sweeping views of mountains rising all around. It’s the kind of place where your soul exhales, your heart slows, and you finally have room to breathe.
+ Do i need a passport to go?
Yes. Since you’ll be traveling to another country, a valid passport is required. We recommend checking your passport’s expiration date now to see if it needs to be renewed.
+ what does travel to the malibu landing (egmont) entail?
Click here for our detailed travel guide for getting to Malibu. We will say, it is a journey!
+ who will I room with if I am signing up alone?
Girl, you won’t be alone for long! We’ve created a special experience just for solo attendees. You’ll be placed in housing and a small group with other women coming on their own—so from the moment you arrive, you’ll have a built-in community to journey through the weekend with.
+ What if I have dietary restrictions?
Malibu’s kitchen does its best to accommodate common food allergies and dietary restrictions. When full registration opens, you’ll be able to share your specific needs so we can plan accordingly. If you require fridge space for personal items, we can provide that too.
+ Can I bring my baby?
Short answer: yes! We do ask that babies are not yet walking, as some of the boardwalks can be uneven and we want to keep everyone safe. Before registering, we’d love to connect with you to go over what life will look like getting to and from Malibu and while on-site. We also recommend booking a semi-private room for extra space, comfort and sound control.
+ What should I pack?
In the weeks leading up to Retreat, we’ll send you a detailed packing guide so you feel fully prepared. September weather at Malibu can be unpredictable, so we’ll keep an eye on the forecast and include the latest recommendations when we share the list.
+ can i room with my friends?
Absolutely! Our vision is for this weekend to be full of friend groups sharing the retreat experience together. When full registration opens, you’ll be able to select who you’d like to room with. If additional friends register later, just email us and we’ll do our best to ensure you’re housed together.
Have more questions? Feel free to email us at retreat@livesalted.com and we would love to answer them!
+ what does 'shared accomodation' mean?
Our main accommodation package includes bunk rooms that can hold 6–14 people, with shared bathrooms featuring multiple stalls, showers, and sinks. Don’t worry—we won’t fill every bunk at camp! Our goal is to keep friend groups together and limit the number of women in a single room to 8 (unless your specific friend group is larger).
+ will there be scholarships available?
A limited number of partial scholarships will be available, as we’re unable to cover the full cost per person. By opening registration so far in advance, our hope is that attendees have time to plan ahead and start budgeting for the event—making this incredible opportunity more accessible months from now. Our scholarship application will be opening soon.
+ Is the event ADA accessible
Malibu is a beautiful but remote location with boardwalks, and uneven terrain, but for the most part is still ADA accessible! We’ll do our best to accommodate mobility needs, and we encourage you to share any accessibility requirements when registering so we can help plan accordingly.
+ who is this event for?
This event is for women ages 16 and older. We envision it as a space to gather with friends, invite your small group, or come together across generations. And if you’re signing up solo, we’ve prepared something special to help you connect and feel at home right away.
Faith-wise, our goal is to create a weekend where women encounter the real Jesus in powerful, tangible ways. This is a space to experience His presence, hear His voice, and be reminded of His love — all in language that is accessible and welcoming, no matter where you are on your journey with Him.
