As followers of Jesus, we’re called to a deeper unity than ever before, both with the Lord and with one another.
Never did we think we would find ourselves doing a college tour through Texas, but here we are again amazed by the plans the Lord has for us! One day Krista Hengesh and Rachel Brusca were talking and praying about what the Lord wanted them to do next with Live Salted and after their board member shared he was going to go on a work trip through Texas the gal’s wheels started turning and next thing we knew we were in full planning mode for a tour throughout Texas. We posted on social asking who wanted us to come to visit them, and four ROCKSTAR ladies reached out who were then the gatekeepers for making the events happen. It truly amazing us the power of someone’s “yes.” Think, if those four ladies didn’t say yes and go through the effort of finding the venues, marketing the event, figuring out housing for the Salt team then our four Texas stops wouldn’t have happened. If you are reading this, be encouraged that the Lord will use your “yes” to do more than you can ever imagine! We made a stop in San Marcos, Nacogdoches, Waco and Fort Worth, Texas each even holding its own unique charm and personality. We pray this is not the last tour we get to go on as a ministry. There is just something so special about going TO someone and meeting them on their home field.

An Undivided Heart
Can we agree with saying we crave to be undivided? We crave to say something and then stick to our decision. We crave to have harmony and connection in our friendship and relationships. We desire to be so close and in tune with the Lord that we hear Him at every point in our lives. To be undivided is the goal, but it is a hard goal to accomplish and it is one that we will never be able to accomplish outside of the Lord’s doing and His help and strength. On this tour, we talked all about what it looks like to be undivided with God, yourself, and others. It was a powerful time to dive into Scripture and see what the Lord has to say about it. Our biggest takeaway was that in order to be the most undivided as we can be it must start with our walk with the Lord. The closer we are to Jesus, the closer we are to fullness within ourselves and with others. It all starts and stems for our intimacy and closeness with the Lord!
