We Are Live Salted!
MOMENTS
On February 4th, 2017 over 250 women squeezed together in the Youth Room at Southlake Church in Portland, Oregon for a packed day of community, worship and teaching on how to live expectantly to see God move in our lives. Whether it was crammed nature of the room or just the pure bliss and joy in the room we left that day feeling united as ONE body of believers charged to go out and live life for the Lord in an “adventurously expectant” way asking God “what’s next.” The day seemed to fly by because before we knew it, we were at our last worship set with handfuls of women coming to the front to be prayed over and set free from past strongholds, insecurities, or wrong beliefs on who God is. It was moving. It was powerful, and many women left that day forever changed. Thank you Jesus!
I am worthy and am deeply loved. I am not alone. I have the capability to fight my worst nightmares because the all mighty God our savior is on my side. – Conference Attendee

I am full of hope and joy of the Lord. I am confident in the things He has done, is doing, and will continue to do in me and through me. He will lead me to do big things to make His name known. I am purely His and I am starting to let Him heal me. – Conference Attendee
Ladies, the power of prayer is real! We were about an hour out from our event wrapping up with a powerful worship set practiced and ready to go when all of a sudden, out of nowhere the power went out. Luckily there were windows in the venue so we were all able to still see but when the power went out that meant so did the sound system. In a few moments, we had brought to the front some candles to help our speaker, Robin Verner, see her notes and she spoke from deep in her soul as her words carried all the way to the back of the room. Sitting in the back, Krista, Salt’s founder, and Emily Jamieson, another speaker, didn’t know what to do. Did the Lord want them to end the event in this humble quiet intimate moment? Or did the Lord want them to roll up their sleeves and pray these lights back on. There is something so powerful in ending in live, loud worship set with women from all over by your side and Emily and Krista felt that is what the Lord truly wanted for that evening. They went outside, heard a report that everyone in the area lost power and it would be off for hours, but before losing all hope they prayed and asked the Lord to let His will be done. They went back inside the room, and a few minutes later, out of nowhere, the disco ball light turned on and then moment’s later all of the power was back on. IT WAS AMAZING. The Lord works in mysterious ways and as a team we believed that someone in that audience was asking God for a sign and maybe that was exactly what someone needed to say yes to the Lord for the first time!
