Want to escape from the quarantine of your room and gather with women from around the world for an evening of seeking the Lord?
CONTENT + WORSHIP TEAM
LOVE THIS IDEA… BUT I HAVE QUESTIONS
Let’s see if we can help you out!
Yep! The event is 100% free! As a Salt team, we have been in enough conversations and time in prayer that we know this sort of event is exactly what we are all needing right now. Just as much as you might be needing it, we are too!
You most definitely can! Zoom is a visual communication tool that is pretty simple to use. If you have not used it before you will need to download it which you can find more information about that here. We suggest you do that before Tuesday so you are not late for the conference.
Zoom has this feature called ‘Meeting Rooms’ where we are able to split up our participates into smaller groups of people. We will be using this feature at the end of Emily’s Talk in Session 1 so you can gather and chat with women from all around. There will be a small group leader in those small groups with questions to lead the group through. We ask that you show your face and turn on your audio so you can participate but if you choose not to that is totally okay!
You need a:
- Device that has internet so you can connect to the Zoom call
- A Bible (if you don’t have a hard copy one on your phone will work)
- A journal
- An expectant attitude for the Lord to meet you right where you are!
To access, we will be sending out a link on Tuesday, March 24th via email. In order to get that email, please make sure you have signed up here!
Such a great question as if you are familar with Zoom you might be used to joining a meeting and chatting right away. For this event when you join the meeting, your camera and audio will be turned off. It will remain that way until our small group breakouts (which they will be turned on) as well as your cameras for an event screenshot at the end to capture this moment!
Our hopeful answer to this question is YES! This is our first time doing this sort of event and are planning on recording it, it will just depend on the post-production if all goes smoothly or not. You can join us in prayer over making that happen!
Are you in? This could be exactly what you need during this time. Set aside these 90-minutes and invest and equip yourself for the season that is at hand!
